El Pescador

The family-run El Pescador Resort sits on the beach of Ambergris Caye and is three miles north of San Pedro, which is approximately 40 miles from Belize International Airport. Guests fly internationally into Belize City and then must schedule a 15-minute flight to San Pedro, Ambergris Caye, prior to departing for your trip. This flight can be arranged through Tropic Air 1-800-422-3435 or Maya Island Air 1-800-521-1247. Another option is to take a water taxi to San Pedro information is available at the airport. The hotel is surrounded by the tropical flowering plants and palm trees. Shops, restaurants, bars, and night spots are within walking distance of the hotel.

Hotel amenities include the private beach, three swimming pools (one of which is adjacent to the beach), complimentary kayaks and bicycles, gift and sundry shop, and on-site restaurant specializing in Caribbean cuisine with meals served on the outdoor deck or indoors. Hors d'oeuvres are available from 4:30pm in the bar. El Pescador can arrange massage treatments, diving or snorkeling excursions on the famous barrier reef, scuba instructions, golf, cave tubing, or river cruises through the jungle to a Mayan archaeological site. In addition, the hotel will arrange for airport transportation with advance notice.

All rooms feature private baths, overhead fans, and air-conditioning. All rooms face the sea.
