Chiaja Hotel de Charme is right in the center of the city; only 20 meters from Piazza del Plebiscito; the heart of Neapolitan culture. The hotel is named after street connecting the commercial area of Via Toledo with the stylish Via dei Mille and the elegant Piazza dei Martiri. The famous pizzeria Brandi is on the ground floor in the same position makes it an ideal reference point for shopping in a pedestrian area. As soon as you come out of our hotel; you are deeply immersed in the lively Neapolitan culture and tradition- the Royal Palace; the Maschio Angioino castle; the Greek Naples with its ancient streets; the San Carlo Opera House; three theatres- Augusteo; Politeama and Sannazzaro- and the Insitute of Philosophical Studies; which all offer exhibitions; performances and events throughout the year; and are at a stone throw from Chiaja Hotel de Charme. As the hotel is so central; it is very easy to reach on foot the most interesting tourist and commercial spots of the city. It is also in a very convenient position for trains; buses; boats and hydrofoils to Pompei; Ercolano; Sorrento; Capri and Positano. 27 splendid rooms equipped with TV-sat; minibar; phone; air conditioning and double glazing. Each one is different; filled with antique furniture belonging to the family which owns the hotel and they all have a balcony which faces on to the pedestrian precinct of Via Chiaia. Driving Directions

From the centre of Naples, take the Tangenziale (bypass) road towards Capodichino and turn off at the exit marked ‘Secondigliano/Aeroporto.’

Car Parking

There are six car parks at the airport with a total of 1,252 spaces. The car parks are located along the main entry road to the airport. P1 is for long-term parking and P3, P2, P4 and P6 provide short-term parking. P5 offers a car valet parking service from Quick No Problem Parking (tel: (0)81 789 6366).

Car Hire

Avis, Europcar, Hertz, Maggiore/National, Sixt and Thrifty have desks located in the Arrivals hall.

Public Transport

Road: Taxi: Taxis are available from outside the Arrivals area. Bus: ANM buses run to Napoli Centrale railway station, arriving at the port of Naples (Piazza Municipio). Alibus shuttle buses also run to Napoli Centrale railway station and then to Piazza Municipio in the centre of Naples.

Airport Facilities

Money and communications: A bank and a post office are located on the right-hand side of Terminal 1, very close to the terminal building. ATMs are located in the Arrivals and Departures areas of Terminal 1. There are bureaux de change in both Departures and Arrivals. Four Internet points are available on the first floor and in the Departures lounge, equipped with monitors, keyboards and web-cams. Eating and drinking: There is a selection of restaurants, bars, cafés and snack bars at the airport. Shopping: Shops are concentrated in the Galleria Napoli, on the first floor of Terminal 1. There is a duty-free shop in the Departures lounge. The Sunstore newsagent and gift shop is located in the check in area. Luggage: Trolleys are available throughout. A 24-hour lost property service (tel: (0)81 789 6766) is available. Other facilities: A Red Cross medical centre is located in Arrivals, with medical assistance available daily 24 hours.

Conference and Business Facilities

The Telelink Internet Centre (tel (0) 81 789 6749) is situated on the first floor and offers a wide range of services including Internet, PC with Office, photocopying, scanning, telephone and fax facilities, and videoconferencing. Meeting rooms are available on request (tel: (0)81 789 6259; email: meeting@gesac.it), with equipment, catering and a variety of executive services available. There are also several VIP lounges.

Disabled Facilities

The airport is well-equipped for disabled travellers with lifts, ramps and pavements that have been widened to accommodate wheelchairs. There is also a pedestrian crossing with sound signals for visually impaired passengers. Two call buttons outside the airport enable those needing assistance to contact a staff member and there are help points within the terminals. Disabled passengers should inform their airline of any special needs prior to travel. Disabled parking is available close to the terminal.

The three-star Millennium Hotel (tel: (0)81 595 5406) is also located very close to the airport, on viale Maddalena, and can be reached on foot or by bus. The four-star Holiday Inn Napoli (tel: (0)81 225 0111) is located 2km (1 mile) from the airport and can be reached using the complimentary shuttle bus provided by the hotel.
